Dessay: Glitter and be Gay 2007

Here is Natalie Dessay in a recital performing a modified version of Glitter and be Gay in May of 2007. It seems las if she shortened this performance of the aria because she is under the weather and can't sing through it all, as I was supposed to see her literally the week before, but she canceled due to Bronchitis.

@MrDajx there is (or was) a video of her doing a backstage interview in Italian during a Traviata in Japan. she's said her Italian isn't that good, but she didn't seem to be struggling in the interview.

How many languages can she speak? Because obviously she speaks French, but this seems to show that she is fluent in both German and English as well... :)

yeah, of course this is a shortened version (by the author of this vid obviously cause desssay sang the whole thing) She's so amazing! she surely changed a bit since 2005....and I had no idea she speaked german! so fluently as well!

The prosa part (pearls and ruby rings...) is missing but i don't think Natalie cut that out. If you watch carefully you ll see that at 2.15 there is a strange gap, it seems like they ve edited the video and they left this part out!!!
