You can unlock your phone to use any mp3, that is not Nokia, it is your provider that limits it. I unlocked mine with Diego and use anything I want for a ring tone. I have no problem with video, there are many reasons your video could be choppy or non responsive.

I have this phone too, And those who say it can't do what it's featured in saying it's able to do jus don't know how to use it...
I transfer all my stuff with bluetooth synced to my pc, ir synced to my laptop or MiniSD Card.. Mp3 player is great, Not to mention video if you have a special 3GP video converter and know the right ratio to adjust the videos to.... I can also use any mp3 I want as a ringtone.

i own this phone and i dont really like it, the videos always freeze, you can only have copyrighted tracks as ringtones, and it seems to glitch out alot, not to mention you cant realy download stuff to, like ringtones or videos being sent to it, oh and you cannot download videos even hough it says you can, well its a phone and it still calls and texts :P
