I took this video of Jon Huber's 79 Stang on the dyno on 10/10/08 while attending the 2008 SVO Mustang Reunion. If I recall correctly he made like 744hp & about 550 ft lb tq.

jeez, thank ass, I'm interested in something new/different to me and ask a general question. Like you woke up one day and where a 4cyl god.....please!
it doesnt matter whos car it is my buddy has an SVO with under 5k wrapped up in the motor putting down over 575 all hes done is a bigger turbo and a megasquirt to tune it i can get the video of it i believe and post it up but 575 to the wheels in under 5k isnt bad
from everything I've heard, not as much as you might think. junkyard turbos and intercoolers work pretty good on these for between 300 and 400h.p. and the bottom end is supposedly ridiculously strong. as far as making this much power, should be no more expensive then trying to get 750h.p. out of a 350 chevy. maybe less because you're only working with 1 bank of 4 cylinders instead of 2 as in a V8. but I could be wrong.
