Cool! How do you get the data to the computer? Do you use a microcontroller as bridge? or how is the pc program made?

@Praskauer The data is simply sent via wifi. The PC program has a UDP server listening for the accelerometer and magnetometer , it then uses that data to calculate a rotation matrix which is applied to the object you want to manipulate (in that case the red polygon).

You are only using the rotational matrix and the compass. Won't this be a disappointment when you try to make some lateral motion? How does it respond to motion down one axis of the accelerometer? Can you actually monitor angular motion and axial motion at the same time? That will be more of a true Wii like controller with it being able to accurately show a tennis racket swing or or a bowling motion.

I never had the intention of creating lateral motion. That's why I changed the title of the video and omitted the wii keyword. I apologise for the misleading title
