I wanted to explore the claims of Mormonism found in 2 Nephi 25:23 where it says "we are saved by grace after all that we can do..." I wanted to explore what the grace of God really is and what the Bible says concerning a works salvation. My conclusion is that the following verses disprove any such claim:
Ephesians 2:8-9, Titus 3:5, 2 Timothy 1:9, Galations 2:21, Romans 3:28, Romans 11:6 as well as others.

Grace is the unmerited favor of God and works are not needed for justification or salvation. In this video and others I am going to show in how many different ways the Book of Mormon and LDS doctrine are in conflict in hopes to draw people out of Mormonism and into faith in the biblical Christ and biblical God.

I also offer commentary on James chapter two, clarifying that James and Paul in Romans were speaking of different types of faith, and so must be read accordingly.

  • Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only.

    James 2:24. (KJV)

Pretty simple if you ask me.

  • @KevinBrault Ok I guess you didn't hear me...? "Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law." Romans 3:28. You force these two verses to contradict when James explains a DIFFERENT TYPE of faith. Romans=saving faith, no works for salvation. James=Unregenerate confession of facts, faith that demons have simply knowing the truth. Without works there is no evidence of true faith, and so when works come naturally, one knows they are saved. Works=evidence

  • Why is it that false christianity needs analogies like an egg, a triangle, or water in its three phases to EXPLAIN thier 3-headed god?..can you point to just ONE place in the Bible where ANY of the prophets or apostles use these very analogies or ANY analogies for that matter to explain the GODHEAD?..well?

Guess your "god" is not found in the bible huh?

  • @imtherealthing John 1:1, 1 Peter 1:2, Acts 5:3-4, Matthew 3:16-17, Matthew 28:19, Genesis 18, Genesis 1:26, Isaiah 9:6, Isaiah 43:11, Colossians 1:16>>>(Job 9:8, Isaiah 44:24). I don't like those comparisons either. As far as three headed god goes, God is not a man. Also, if we reduce to calling the Trinity a three headed god, we could dismiss God's omniscience/omnipresence as well because we don't understand it. Romans 1:23=Picture of Mormonism. Isaiah 43:10Isaiah 43:10Isaiah 43:10Isaiah 43:10

  • Titus 1:16 They profess that they know God; but in WORKS they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.

Now we see that works can be both..good and bad..and if you do one over the other ...it will determine where you end up..not your faith...but your works.

  • @imtherealthing

    1. Wasn't arguing works couldn't be bad so unsure watcha mean

    2. Makes no sense to say works save you by that verse

    3. Notice I even addressed James 2 about works. Works are PROOFS, EVIDENCES of TRUE FAITH. Bad fruit=not true faith. After true faith THEN come works out of thankfulness.

All you have proven is faith without works is dead, which is true. BUT "Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law."(true faith)

    Titus 1:16=not true faith

  • @imtherealthing Good scriptures!

  • @jaromsmiss

    Acts 7:51-53

“Ye STIFFNECKED and uncircumcised IN HEART and EARS, YE DO ALWAYS RESIST the HOLY GHOST: as your fathers did, SO DO YE.

Which of the PROPHETS have not your fathers PERSECUTED and they have slain them which shewed before of the coming of the Just One; of whom ye have been now the betrayers and murderers:

Who have RECIEVED the law BY THE DISPOSITION OF ANGELS, and have NOT KEPT IT”.

  • @jaromsmiss

    Acts 7:54

“When they heard these things, they were cut to the heart, and they gnashed on him with their teeth.”

  • @jaromsmiss

    1 Pet. 5: 8

Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:

    Acts 28: 22

But we desire to hear of thee what thou thinkest: for as concerning this SECT [cult], we know that every where it is spoken against.

  • @imtherealthing

right! the LDS church deals with so much anti, so much hate and opposition. wonder why? because truth always has evil and opposition trailing behind it to bring it down. Satan will not stop......he will attempt to bring this true church down in any way possible. we must, as a church, keep our heads up, stand strong and overcome this opposition.

  • @jaromsmiss

I know that and you know that as does the LORD...but this devil in the video and his supporters will deny the truth as the Pharisees and Saducees did...even if Christ were to stand in front of this kid and other false christians like thier counterparts who also denied him..they too would deny him and his servants he sends...it is the same spirit that possessed the lying Pharisees and Saducees that possess this kid and his kind.

  • @imtherealthing

    U speaking truth brother!

  • @imtherealthing "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:" Matt 28:19 (KJV) Denial of the Trinity is denial of Christ.
