Explanations of obscure references:
"Sandford dunked it, missed the hoop, and then he ate it" -This is in reference to an incident at a pep rally in which Mr. Chad Sandford dunked from a trampoline, but didn't manage to hold the hoop, thus causing him to fall rather comically to the ground.
"Mod A..." -Classes at central are divvied up into mods A through H.
"Greenman" -We blatantly stole Charlie's character 'Greenman' from "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" to use as our school mascot.
"In the library, you better shut your mouth" -This seemingly obvious reference to the need for silence in a school library is in fact a comical understatement. The Central librarians are known for their fascist, inhuman treatment of even the quietest students. I remember one of them forcing a student to spit out a coughdrop because "Food isn't allowed in the library."
"Dance like Krause" -Mr. Krause is a french teacher with a passion for Bob Dylan and a humorous style of dance.
"Go to the PA" -The PA is the Practical Arts Building.
