I don't think being a member of the media and watching videos qualifies you as a seal hunter.
The hakipik is a tool that is barley used anymore. Over 90% of seals are killed with guns. If you succeed in stopping the hunt, where will PETA's get it's money? How will the innu feed their families? They can't just plant crops in the arctic, and southern industries wont work up there.
Animals are being killed for entertainment in other parts of the world. Why wont PETA focus on that?

Are you a scientist? A medical researcher? A member of the media? Kate is reciting facts available from the IFAW website. Sheryl Fink the senior researcher has spent many years personally observing the annual slaughter. You can check out all the facts under the "more info" section of this video.
BTW how were you able to acquire that Avatar clip? I don't recall it being available to the media.

I can tell that you are not. I am from Newfoundland, I seen and know how the hunting is actually done. Going into other people's communities and telling them what to do doesn't work. The stunts that PETA pulls off only encourages the public to research the actual facts, which is why the people are are against PETA far out number the members.

I am a member of the media. I've seen the brutal and inhumane seal hunt video clips. Please see "more info" and watch. Did you read the facts under "more info" which are compiled by IFAW and other organizations, not PETA. The facts were provided to PETA by research scientists who are out on the ice floes annually observing the hunt. You can't dispute facts and video substantiating the facts. You are not providing any links to "facts", just voicing your opinion which is not based in fact.
