Was there some kind of remix contest for this song? I hear all these remixes that sound like people had access to the separate tracks opposed to taking the original version and just putting some beats and stuff around it. I know Radiohead furnished all the parts for one of their songs and had a remix contest so anyone who had Itunes could download the stems and use them for their mixing. Did this happen with Baby? Would love to buy some of these remixes.

This is not bad! The chord structure stays very true to the original and I like that - did you use some of the production stems as well as the acapella? The first 30 seconds sounds identical to the album version = not good. I notice the audio and video are quite out of sync though in a few parts....the people on the screen are mouthing the words, but the audio that plays doesn't match their lip movements at all :( Most of it's pretty spot-on though, so good job.

@DJMichaelAngelo I did use parts of the original's instrumental but only in the intro and first part of Ludacris' verse. The intro is purposely structured to sound like the original as a type of "fake out". The full mix's intro actually builds up to the point where this edit starts. As far as the audio/visual sync being off, the file looks fine when played on my end but YouTube does mess that up during the encoding process sometimes. THANX FOR THE FEEDBACK! Kudos on Madonna's "Dance 2Nite"!
