Bruce Lipton C2C (Pt. 1 of 12 )

Through his experiments, examining in detail the molecular mechanisms by which cells process information he has demonstrated that genes do not control our health and behavior, but that it is our thoughts that influence the genes and therefore the cells. These influences include our perceptions and beliefs. He shows that our beliefs, true or false, positive or negative, affect genetic activity and actually alter our genetic code. Dr. Lipton's work has been hailed as one of the major breakthroughs in the New Sciences.

He has mixed epigenetics with spiritualism. He talks about personality/attitude - perception as though it is an elusive self controlling gene expression. The brain and endochrine system have a massive affect on gene expression on every cell. He argues against scientific opinions from the 90's - epigenetics is mainstream science now. He has no definition of self just to say you r outside your body.

sortashaman, capitalism is not corrupted, it is a socio-economic system that inevitably exploites and suppresses the majority in the interest of the tiny minority , its a profit driven society enslaving the vast majority through the wages system.Our energies are being legally robed of us. money is the expression and the leagal tender//medium that facilitates CLASS EXPLOITATION. We have the know how to take care of our social and material needs.

@arzoyan : Good thoughts! I agree that we need to emphasize cooperation, and that the capitalist/corporatist system is badly corrupted. And I think the old paradigm in Biology ("Genetic Determinism") has done much harm, in that its adherents are not offering any new solutions ("that's just the way it is...") We need to first imagine that it CAN be better, then imagine HOW...just some thoughts. The Bruce Lipton findings have been quite revelatory to me; also see "Spontaneous Evolution".

We are exploited through the mechanism of politically manipulated market and that the Ideology of ruling class is the belief that we have internalised through the education system and other social institutions . Capitalism is a profit driven society for a few and the utter suppression of the material and spirtual need of immense humanity, its a criminal system that we need to get rid of and to reconstitut a truly human society of cooperation for our common well being.
