Ive been looking for good settings for my randall v2 for a long time now. i just imputed your settings, and it sounded dry. Then by accident i hit my sonic boost on, andit sounds like the actual distortion channel on this head came out of an evh 5150iii!! the amp actually really sounds amazing now, well i mean the tube overdrive channel. still have to work on the other overdrive.

@greyfox92 "Like trivium for example, i'm not a fan of the band because of their music, but people write them off immediately after they see them playing MLs." Not a Trivium fan either but I agree with your point, sadly everyone seems to think that ML's must be associated with Dime, they were out before Pantera it happened to be the axe he liked, he won one in a contest in Texas when he was young, My take is play what you want f*ck everones opinion!

I bought this. The V-logo was only half lit-up, I'm guessing one of the leds was broken. The clean was typical Randall, which is pretty bad, the gain on the other hand is very tight and raw, which I liked. And what the hell is wrong with your hair, you 15 or what?

@BionicSam I like the ppl who say it's "wrong" to play heavy music with a Strat, etc...There's all these set-in-concrete "rules" about gear now...None of that existed back in the 80s, and before. And ppl are anal about "musicianship" again, like in the 70s before the Ramones came out...I feel like I'm sandwiched between 2 STUPID generations.

@Ango360 Anyone who likes or dislikes a band based on the equipment (amps guitars) they use, or don't use, is a trainspotting fool and obviously can't play guitar themself and should grow up. If I buy a KK JCM800 and a ESP JH-600 I am not going to sound just like slayer or think theyre the only band that exists so who gives a fuk what kind of equipment people use. Some ofthe most notorious HardcorePunk bands of late 80's and early 90's used sh*t equipment and sounded great-I know I was there.
