Many people have asked me "what is up with my headlights", well lately I have had duct tape on them because I hadnt figured out how to finish my project of doing a HID retro conversion. Basically taking the old halagen headlights and replacing them with HID projectors from a newer SUV. Upgrading. Now many people simply put "HID KITS" in there headlights just replacing the bulb, which is a poor excuse for proper lighting. The original housing cannot focus that much light and simply blinds everyone else on the road. But when I pull up next to a wall and shine my lights along with a range rover or BMW it would take a true lighting guru to tell which was mine ,a 77 international scout or a 80,000 dollar BMW SUV.

  • Creativety award goes to you. Hey I built a hot rod 345 once for a 74 Travelall. Take care of that IH. They are good trucks, better if you are good at electrical work.

  • @DobermansRock thanks

  • Awesome. They make your truck look like it's been doing heroine.

  • @UnusualTastes thanks, i think

  • i have aftermarket headlights on my 86 f150 that has that lens already in them. will the HID KIT still blind the other drivers?

  • @WARD5KUSTOMZ you know Id have to see them, but go to my newer HID video with night shots, and tell me if your lights have a perfect horizontal cutoff, you'll notice in the video that when i turn off the high beams its absolutely pitch black above the cut off, thanks

  • Для чего эта хуета???

  • You know, I honestly thought those little lights were going to look pretty silly installed on the Scout, but they turned out looking pretty good, and their performance eliminates any lingering hesitation.

I'm enjoying your vids, but they sure make me miss my Travelall.

  • the front bumper is pretty sweet

  • Looks kool man like it

  • "What is UP with your headlights?!" LOLZ

  • this guy takes nigger rigging to another level

  • @beast12101 No, thank you. Its good to see someone want something and make it themselves. Its what us American's are best at. I am tired of seeing people with store bought toys. Hey just an Idea, look into old used ammo cans. I bolted one under the hood of my 73 powerwagon, sealed it with rtv and used it for tools.

  • Wow, super creative. That headlight cover idea's just awesome!
