A long overdue Berry video with an appearance from Jimbo :) Because i couldn't leave him out.
General update - I've moved yards :) If your an old old subscriber you might recognize the yard. I was there temporarily with Jimbo quite a while back now. So a friend of ours has it now and its probably the best decision i've ever made. I love it there.
Berry update - She's learnt to trot properly under saddle, Canter under saddle and has even done a little jump :D She's coming on amazingly. She's such a sweetie, bless her.
Today we did a hour and half hack! It was unplanned but great non-the-less.

Jimbo Update - So he has been getting so much better. Then on Tuesday he went blind. We thought it was a brain tumor. The vet was completely baffled. I was devastated. Then i went down on Wednesday and he could see me! It was bizarre but amazing.
It turns out that there are documented but very very very rare cases of a chemical used in wormers sending horses temporarily blind. I wormed him on the Sunday so the vets pretty sure its that. So from now one he'll have a worm count and then if we have to worm him it'll be a special one. Poor boy. He was so depressed.
He's quite enjoying life out in the field at the moment. He's out 24/7 with no rug enjoying the sun. He's getting groomed and pampered everyday and is loving it.
Oh and the vet might have mentioned that in the future i might be able to hack him out again!!

So it's all great news all round with the ponies.

Berry's coming on so well your doing a great job with her! thats scary what happened to Jimbo though but at least he's enjoying life in his field bless him :) Jimbo & Berry are both adorable I love them! xx

Oh nice to see an update from you :) Both of them looking fabby! Berry's really coming on, bless her :} Thats so scary about Jimbo, just this morning wormed my new boy so you've got me in a panic now, can't actually believe that! poor boy. @katieebabess10 Don't panic. It's extremely rare. Theres more chance of you winning the lottery than the horse reacting to the wormer. xx

@katieebabess10 dont worry, it very rarely happens, but it might be an idea considering having worm counts done anyway, then you only have to worm when your horse needs it, rather than pumping them full of chemicals just because the wormer companies say so :)

@nutter666f Although worm count is the better option it's not always possible so worming isn't a bad thing. From now on my yard owner has said i can have Jimbo worm counted. He's always been wormed his whole life without a problem because it was not possible for me to worm count.

I completely agree though, if you can worm count than do it :)
