this looks like a lot of fun. I'm going to Kiruna next Tuesday and probably not gonna do such thing as the last time I skated was about 17 years ago (and with not much success) but the place and the light looks fantastic.

Dear uploader, I am a skater from the Dutch skating club and I found the report and this film recently on Skridsko net.......now this seems a fantastic skating trip in a marvellous area.

I would like to skate in Lappland next year if possible late October/November. How would I be able to find out about ice conditions so early in the season, besides the reports that usually come in late... it takes 2 days to get there from Holland and we all know that snow is always coming in soon.
