  • Thanks but no thanks .

  • She'd got no soul

  • @Timmybear I prefer Linda Rondstat over both...but each to his own. This song reminds me of an religious tune from long long ago. It is all in style. Tori Amos wore her own style and enjoyed by some. Sissel was the ultimate movie persona. Lesser known movie mongrel composer was Amy Mullen who never cut a record but was at the end of many a movie or in between scenes. The audience gets tired and moves on. What can 1 say about Jennifer WArnes....she was all business!

  • Wow!

  • I love all of Julie Christensen songs ... especially when she and Perla Batalla sing Anthem ... one of the great all time performances in my humble opinion. I know Ms. Christensen was born and raised in the state of Iowa. I was raised there too so I'd love to know in what town in Iowa.

  • Not as angelic as Jennifer Warnes' - but, then, angelic rather misses the point (and Miss Warnes, you should pardon the expression, emasculates the song by removing much of the lyric)

  • Watch Julie and Perla Batalla exchange lead vocals on Leonard Cohen's 'Anthem' - rather than just back-up, as they did on the original - in the documentary, "Leonard Cohen: I'm Your Man"

  • Beautiful performance of this song, saw her do it live once...amazing.

  • Julie Christensen rules! :) It's great o hear you still sounding (and looking) so well my dear! Time can't touch talent like your's Julie. I still get a shiver when I hear you sing. Keep on going.

  • Julie is not a chorus girl, she is a great singer.
