Clothing integration into HeroEngine, an MMOG game engine. The cape and the skirt are physically simulated and interact properly with the environment. The character can move from one frame to the other from left to right, which in general adds a lot of energy to the system but is properly dealt with. This is a big difference e.g. compared to nice and smooth animations used in "tech demos" which are not realistic in current games. The APEX Clothing integration just took 6 man weeks, mainly due to the module design of the APEX framework.

  • A next gen cape on a last gen looking game. Looks out of place.

  • Physically steal it from company headquarters. That is probably the only way.
