I've decided to take muteki's Millia Rage for a test drive in this bout. She plays pretty well for a first playthrough with her. Her moves are simple to pull off, and her combo ability is very high as with most of muteki's Guilty Gear creations. Of course since this is my first run with her, the fight can get quite sloppy. Also, the fact that I can't time her launcher to perform air combos doesn't help matters much. However, I think I did fairly well considering my opponent.
Millia's opponent is Street Fighter Alpha star Karin by P.o.t.S. She is a pure hand-to-hand combat fighter and is very difficult to fight her head on, especially if you don't get your planned move in a split-second before hers. That's because she WILL take advantage of every opening you have. Even if an attack is a hair's fraction of a second late, she will counter with a special or a super move and has a move for every situation when the opponent is standing or crouching. You can thank P.o.t.S's AI for that.
Properly timed attacks and simple combos are the keys to this match. If one move goes awry, Karin will completely decimate me, and being stuck in corners also doesn't help the cause. I plan to continue to work with Millia to become familiar to her fighting style because she interests me quite a bit.

Vucious' Random Rant: Good Lord! I know this will sound stupid coming from me, but crap! Millia has HUGE hair! I mean, look at it. Untie her hair and it comes out in large clumps. AND it seems to have a will of its own. Now I don't follow the Guilty Gear storyline, and to be honest, I wish I had, but even knowing the storyline still won't help me get over the hair. It's just there I tell ya!
nice work, and GG characters comboes are a little more on precision and not as much buttonsmashing giving a less sense of freedome. so you have to test how attacks effect a charcter to make a good combo. and for the story, check wikipedia xD

I completely agree with you on that point. Timing is one of the key things I've learned with testing GG characters. But I plan to get better with more practice. Besides, I can't stay being a one-dimensional fighter.
As for the storyline, you've been reading my rant haven't you? It's just the hair! I'm hypnotized by the sheer amount of hair. It compels me to do... stuff?

Well I didn't say that I didn't like Millia's hair. Actually, I like it too. It's just, well, there's so much of it that I get caught in its majesty, for a lack of a better phrase.
