it is sad what has happened to Bean. The material is cheap, thin, and nothing lasts like it did from yesteryear. China made, not Maine made, or Vermont made. A few washings and the shirts need to be tossed out. Even the shoes are no longer made in Maine and are cheap and uncomfortable. It was an amazing American success story once upon a time.

LL BEAN stuff is crap! It's all now made in China. Screw Vermonters - they should call it LL CHINA. Way overpriced for the slave labor that sews and makes the stuff!!!! Just bought a sleeping bag and MADE IN CHINA all over it. Never mentioned that in the fucking catalog. CHEAP AND CRAPPY!

I have a customer of llbean since the 40s and they have never, not once, ever given me even a question when a product has malfunctioned or broken. Is there more to this story?
