Funny thing that, los mexicanos son nativos de aqui, cabron! In other words they didn't slaughter thousands just to say that they're better than everyone else. Aboriginal American prisoners were actually treated very fairly and allowed to join the tribe.

Hero yes, but he's still broken the law. I can see letting him stay here on a special visa and giving a fast track to an immigration application, assuming he jumps through the necessary bureacratic hoops. Then he can be a hero in another sense: a 'legal' immigrant, which everyone wanting to come to the US should do.

@cmjproductions1986 I'm not sure why I posted that hateful comment; I suppose I was having a off-day. Sure. Citizenship could be granted as a reward for his heroic endeavor, and I would totally support that. But you must keep in mind that some of us had to work vigorously to acquire even dual-citizenship with the U.S, much less complete citizenship.

I wish this happened in Arizona, to have the racist police and governor give an illegal immigrant a award for being a hero. He would have done the job that the police should have done but they were to busy pulling over Mexicans. That is the only thing that wold have made this story better.
