do you thin k its real?????I dont know..look at the trumpets movement..looks like a human arm dressed as an elephant..(look at the elbow-angle ) and the stiff movements....I dont think its an elephant painting!

@CuteYummy4 Yeah, because if you hurt an elephants trunk it's going to just go along with it... probably get brained.
However, you are right, they don't do it naturally. When being taught to paint, the elephant's trunk is guided (gently) by the mahout (trainer) in the shape of what they are to paint. They're still doing it themselves at the actual show, but it's muscle memory as opposed to creativity.

I wonder why she painted them from the rear-view? Does that somehow indicate her position in the herd? I can't even paint that well!!!
