@josbo51715 She didn't have to fight to get the role because of the scandal, they begged her to do it but she declined because she was in the midst of morning her father and was not ready for a role and her children were in New York, she didn't want to uproot them to LA but they gave her the go ahead. That is how she got the role. She was specially requested. The scandal actually propelled her career, which she has openly admitted.

@mizoboe Not really. Vanessa had to audition just like everyone else. In fact, she had to fight to get role because she had a difficult time after her Miss America scandal She has never gotten anything that she didn't earn.
