A 2-part question dealing with the legal status of marijuana and United States government involvement and intervention in preventing misuse of and addiction to prescription drugs. Jack from Troy, MI.
1: The drug should be legal. There is no logical reason to control a substance with such low hazards and to allow far more hazardous substances to be obtained so easily.
2: Yes it is important to have control over pers meds, for they "can" be extremly dangerous and the user should be made aware of the risks involved before they are allowed access, as well as a diognostic to certify there need for the med.
1. our government is stupid and most people are mislead to think pot is the devil
2. no the governemtn shouldnt, its not the governments place to decide what u put into ur body, as long as ur not hurtin anyone in the process ur supposed to be able to do eat/smoke anything u want. were supposed to have that right, its in the constitution.
but who cares about the constitution nowadays right? pfft
I respect law enforcement officers, but about 50% of my cop friends are alcoholics. (check the stats; Police have a very high rate of alcoholism) It's kind of ironic that they arrest kids with a little bag of weed when they're going to polish off a 5th of Vodka at the end of their shift...
idiot cannabis, is far less harmful than cigerettes, know your facts fool, also i bet they didn't even touch this entry, prohibition will never end as long as drunks run this country the whole nation is fucked!
yes do more, much more, give me cocaine... well maybe not that but I know from my us friends that alcohol here in Australia has bitchen taxes to stop us poor uni students getting too wasted. Sure we get around it but it slows us down quite a bit.
well...sine i became a medical marijuana patient 2 yrs ago my pain has been more controlable and i havent't needed as many of my prescription drugs ;)
