Lennox Lewis - Vitali Klitschko preview 2003

Preview of the world heavyweight championship fight between Lennox Lewis and Vitali Klitschko. Original challenger Kirk Johnson from Canada had pulled out of the fight. Lewis decided to take on the much tougher Klitschko at the Staples Center, Los Angeles. It would prove to be Lennox's swansong.

@johnosandra fact is lewis came in at 38 years old, the heaviest of his career and having lost the desire to continue boxing at the top having accomplished EVERYTHING and beaten EVERYONE. fact is and it is undisputed, Lewis beat Vitali in 6 rounds by tko and was only behind on 2 points, having won the latter two rounds of the fight and having got his second wind. if the fight continued Vitali would now be retired since 2003 because his face would be pulp and in a museum.

@johnosandra lewis won fair and square. Vitali needed about 60 stitches and as a champion Lewis can choose whether he can give somebody a rematch or not. He might loose but he beat vitali at his worst condition.

@xukun0 They fight 90% of time in Germany where they know that they will be given the fight regardless how poor they perform. In their contracts they decide the judges, referees, gloves etc. Check out espn for rules of the Klischkos contracts one sided to their advantage. This is common knowledge everytime they fight so their opponents are always at a disadvantage. David Haye was given the same contract, Vitali last fight with Solice 2 of the 3 judges officiated in 80% of their past fights.

@johnosandra Lewis knocked Vitali brains into submission the moron wanted to fight even though he knew he was losing the fight in every respect . Lewis almost knocked his eye out of it's socket he should have continued and put that robotic bum into a coma, what a farce he was completly exhausted and holding on for dear life. The Klischkos should return to lap dancing and booty shaking for the Ukrainian parliment because they both lack boxing skills and condition. They are an embarrassment !!
