Rush 2 Revisited

Just a video of me having a go at the Stunts track in Rush 2 after many years. I thought for fun I'd record it, I enjoyed it even if I was a little rusty with my old trusty stunt van of death.

It's interesting to watch the game's physics engine struggle with certain jumps (at 4:13 you can see it just turns along the Z-axis randomly!) but I know how hard it is to code a good physics engine and the old Rush engine was still fun.

Note that Nitrous Boost, Light Gravity, Respawn in Place, Timer Off and Invincible are enabled.

The music is not the default for the track, it's another song from the game called Amiga-ish.

For all those commenting on the music from the video, please read the info on the right. It clearly states this is not the default music for the stunt track. The song is however from the game, called Amiga-ish. It's not some cheap track I put on myself.

The stunt track music gets a bit repetitive and is in plenty of other videos on here so I decided to use another track.

You can enable cheats in Project 64, there's a menu for it. Excellent emulator (not for that particular reasons of course).

N64, there is no PC version. This is running on Project 64 though.

0:35 I love Rush 2's physics! This game is fun to come back to when your playing these extremely realistic racing games like Need for Speed, and you come back to this and do like 40 flips in the air, your in for some huge LOLs.

Awmg! I had this game, but my mean little cousin ruined it! (I'm 13 btw) I loved the stunt track, but I could never pull off a stunt! I just liked to -censored- around in there :3 I got all the keys from that place too :D And now I'm convincing my mom to let me buy 2049 should we find one =s RUSH ON FOREVER!!!!

Countless memories of me and my brother (who is 8 years older than me) playing this. You have to take in account that in the 90's, physics didn't exist and vans could easily top 200 mph.
