Hot Toys ALIENS Colonial Marines Hicks Hudson & Vasquez

A quick review of my custom weathered and reworked Hot Toys USCM figures, including Vasquez, Hicks with the head I provided and special headset made for the figure, and Hudson, using a head and LOTS of special weathering and details.

I bought a Hicks figure and a separate head sculpt. I can't seem to get the original Hicks head off and I'm afraid I'm going to break it. Any tips on how to get the original head off safely so I can get this sweet Michael Biehn head on? Thanks

@lhugueny I preheat (microwave) some water (JUST THE WATER!, don't microwave the heads or parts!) for a minute, and then drop in the head, post and all, for 30 seconds or so, You'll need tweezers or needlenose pliers to retrieve the head from the very hot water, but once it's out and dry, (it will be hot), you can twist it off the neckpost. Usually works well for me. Let me know if that works.

You can then superglue the bought resin head to the neckpost and put it back on the figure.

@fes81joey Sadly most are already sold. I only ever had the ones you see in the video. I am considering selling my Hicks though. Not sure yet. But, Hicks and my custom Newt are possibles. Just not as attached to them as I once was. Time will tell. (I may see the movie again and all bets are off! lol)

I wish I had one of these so much. I had one of these that I built from a kit but the company that was making the colonial marine kits disappeared.

best movie..they made the movie....they have to do another one with those same people it was the best...and they shouldnt kill them off either
