Hilariously cheesy jeans commercial from 1979 featuring Phil Esposito #77, Ron Duguay #10, Dave Maloney #26 and Anders Hedberg #15 of the New York Rangers.

  • Esposito got pounded setting up in front of the net by some of the toughest bruisers in hockey, becoming the greatest deflection artist in the history of hockey, I reckon he should get away with one helluva fairy ass commercial.

  • I'll agree with you there. Esposito has taken enough physical abuse to last a few lifetimes. He's earned the right to do whatever he pleases as far as I'm concerned.

  • Obviously, none of you were around in this time period. The Rangers were sex symbols when Duguay was around.

  • The Devils suck but at least you don't see them doing this shit.

  • Nine - teen Eighty - three!

  • @hiberniall Didn't matter who we were playing. POTVIN SUCKS! would always rain down from the blue seats. Glorious.

  • BEAT YOUR WIFE POTVIN!!!! Clap...clap...clap clap clap!!!

  • Potvin Sucks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @cjf7991 Funny, you don't mention that two of the three '94 Cup heroes, Leetch and Richter, were Ranger born and bred. And the Islanders had plenty of empty seats only a year after the last Cup of their "Dynasty"...as well as tons of empty seats with every "tribute night" for their Cup-winning biggest stars....pathetic.

  • @cjf7991 the islanders haven't won since 1983, LMAO. They are a joke this year and will be next year, you can put that in the bank

  • my dad is Maurice Sasson, the real owner when this commercial was made ... Vidal is not the same as jeans Sasson i hope you all know, Sasson jeans was the one that sued the man who copy the name.

  • thats exactly why potvin, smith, trottier were builidng a dynasty in new york while these fools were cross town doing blow and silly adds for madison ave. they helped 1940 live as long as it did
