The modern convergence of faith and science is nothing less than a megatrend -- an immense, pervasive thrust in today's culture that is emblematic of a new paradigm of consciousness. Kabbalah holds the key, let's unlock the door... a Chabad perspective.

  • Part 2 - That would be a strange thesis indeed, and one that modern day new-agers should ponder before engaging in religious apologetics based on modern scientific theories. It is a philosophically risky (and unnecessary) approach.

  • Part 1 - I think, by far, the answer: "G-d paints them ONE AT A TIME" is better (and immensely more elegant). You claim: "It used to be a matter of faith - now it's a matter of objective reality". Well - are we to believe that the connection our predecessors had to G-d was somehow inferior due to their lack of knowledge of the latest developments in quantum physics or big bang cosmology?

  • abrahamsha,

I don't get your comment. The RAMBAM was a physician and scientist. It makes 100% sense for a Rabbi to be a scientist and make the connections between Judaism and science. Not learning science and ignoring the world around us as insignificant is not a Jewish way of thinking.

  • This video is truly tapping into the awesome...world in which we live in! There is so much to learn, so much to discover---oHHH how exhilarating it is to grow and achieve a greater understanding of G-D!!!!

  • ALL IS GOD, GOD IS ALL..

  • You my friend are awesome, amazing video. Post more!

  • The problem with the latest 'scientific' explanation of origins is that it smashes the Name[therefore the character of the Maker]. Death, sickness, abheration, etc are all seen as normal rather than as an affect of not listening to the Maker's instructions.

  • i like what he has to say. god is never far away.

  • Very Nice !

  • nice lecture

the rabbi seems to be a bit too scientific educated to be kosher

yet some of what he says is true

the neuron brain activity is merely a manifestation of the spiritual activity of the nefesh.
