The Hand Washing procedure demonstrated in this video is used in the successful completion of the ASTM (American Society for Testing and Materials) E1174 and E1115; the Healthcare Personnel Hand Wash Evaluation and the Surgical Hand Scrub test methods. These particular test methods are used to evaluate the antimicrobial efficacy of antimicrobial hand soaps/sanitizers used in healthcare facilities around the world.
