James Cameron is a fan of Terminator and probably got ideas from Bakshi and even borrowed some elements of Wizards for Avatar including the similar environmentalist message

I remember seeing this in the theater. Was a long time before I saw it again, broadcast up in Alaska. Bought the video first chance I got. Everyone likes it when I let them watch it.

Well both Wizards and Fist of the North Star are similar movies because both are Sci-fi action fantasy movies set in a post apocalyptic future after a nuclear holocaust and there are two magical brothers who are at war with each other as one is a messiah and the other is a dictator and even the battle sequences are similar. Since this movie is like Ferngully both were made from Fox and are environmentalist fantasy movies, do you think Elinore rivals Crysta for sexy fairy?

Wow, hadn't realized this had so many views. Thanks all for your positive feedback. Of course there's going to be people with issues. It's expected. And no idea who Vaugh Bode is, and Reason was uninvolved in the production whatsoever. A little learning project for me on Cubase SX 3 and some free vst plugins I was playing with. I love this movie, so I felt it was only appropriate to pay some tribute to it in a way I could. If you don't like it, don't watch it.

This is an awesome movie and great video you made, loved this since i was 14 when i rewatched it after not seeing it in so long since i watched it with my big brothers on video about 25 years ago. If you like this movie i recommend Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind (aka Warriors of the Wind), Heavy Metal, Ferngully, Fist of the North Star, Rock and Rule and Fantastic Planet which are similar movies.

Nausicaa is classic, as is Heavy Metal and Ferngully. Dunno quite how Fist of the North Star fits in there, but that's a great movie/series as well with some awesome new releases out that any fan of the series should check out (Skip the Fist of the Blue Sky series, it sucks). Never seen Fantastic Planet or Rock and Rule though. I'll have to add those to my "to see" list.
