Without Amos and Andy, there would be no Honeymooners. If there were no Honeymooners, there would be no Flintstones, Simpsons or Family Guy. These guys were EXREMELY important in the development of American humor.

Most of the tv show plots were Amos and Andy trying to con each other with the cab driver being the moral conscience of the group! I found the plots both humorous and entertaining, never viewed it as racist, more along the lines of lessons of how you reap what you sow!

Wow... kudos to your for surviving for so long while the world evolves around you (evolution is that thing they were supposed to teach you in science class). indeed,during the 20's and 30's it was more of a drama than a comedy.
