@JessFromMead That's because they're geriatric pussywhipped candyass suit-and-tie-wearing turkey-necked emasculated pinkos with self-righteous delusions of deification. And you can't spell "deification" without "defication."
Peal their flesh! Salt their wounds! Rise forth with a clenched fist!

As an (E.V.I.L.) Republican Gamer, myself, I believe that violent video games encourage revolutionary jingoism and vigilantism which represent resistance against degeneracy, defeatism, and internationalism (the Combine from Half-Life 2 are an effective caricature of internationalism and dehumanization). Therefore, video game violence can only be a good thing if it encourages intellectual revolution against collectivism and statism. My only crit is that guns in games don't usually work right.

@GhostRecon117 That's a distorted figure, ignoring other things that happened in many states at the same time, including the increase of concealed carry permits for citizens to defend themselves, which actively lowered successful crime rates, as opposed to attempted crime rates, yielding less victims and more criminals behind bars in the final numbers.
There are numerous videos on youtube of assailants holding guns video game style, being fended off by legal carrying citizens.
Think about it.

Liberals support violent video games, believing that first person shooters are harmless fun. Conservative groups disagree: video games help spread violence, improper and unsafe use of firearms, and disregard for human life.
However, Liberals mostly despise hunting video games; Conservatives are more supporting of them - but a bit of a mixed bag in this case.
Growing up in a conservative home you are more likely to be doing chores, playing sports, and shooting actual firearms, than gaming.

it's mixed, Democrats don't want the government to infringe on their morals, republicans dont want the government to take away the right to violence and bear arms, so both sides can b pro-video games

Well do you also need an explanation of my reference to them as 'trash'?
If you've got nothing better to do than play a video game, seek help.

I would like an explaination on the "mind-control" arguement. I started at about the age of 5 with Doom and have played violent video games since. Also since the advent of violent video games, in the early 1990's, the overall violent crime rate has dropped from 50 victims per 1000 people to just over 20?

The video games are mind control, thats my view.
Guns are grand, I own several including the evil ar-15 with flash supressor and collapsing stock.
Video games are trash.

leave this to the professionals psychologists have performed scientific studies that have proven playing violent video games correlates with antisocial and violent behavior
OMG I SMOKED CRACK AS A KID AND TURNED OUT FINE THAT PROVES CRACK COCAINE IS OK FOR KIDS
Yeah Seriously Its not the ESPRs fault that Idiot 12 year olds are buying these games. Its the Frakin Parents Fault.
Press views us gamers as, alienated and inhuman killers. the Video Game Violence Debate itself is a joke to me. you got All these High up Politicians on these Talk shows and they feed out all the wrong things
They have never asked a Gamer to be on and get OUR view on Video Games

wow, seek help, why? is it because support an growing industry that currently rakes in billions of dollars and am not an arrogant douche-fag that insults what he can't understand?
Also, this video is about a position of video games causing real life violence or not, (Hint: not) not a matter of what you think of video games as a whole and what guns you have.
