Castlevania The Adventure Rebirth OST Comparison - Battle of The Holy

Wait, Battle of the Holy? That has to be a mistake, right?

It isn't.

As most Castlevania fans should know, Battle of The Holy is the theme for the first level of Castlevania: The Adventure for Game Boy. It was noticeably missing from Castlevania: The Adventure ReBirth, a re-imagining of the game for the Wii. However, an OST was recently released for Castlevania ReBirth, along with Contra Rebirth. Along with another track, a remix of Battle of the Holy was found as a bonus track on the CD. Now to be honest, I wasn't not the biggest fan of Battle of The Holy, but WOW, the ReBirth remix is catchy. Konami should have added it as an alternate stage 1 theme or something.

I never played this game, but seen it on youtube and loved ALL THE WHOLE tracks on this (pretty short) game. Konami has done a wonderful job using the limited capacities of the old Gameboy!

Damn, I don't have a Wii and overlooked the coverage of this game but the remix tunes are exceptional. Amazing idea to remix them all using what sounds like early 90s classic Konami arcade hardware, responsible for TMNT, Sunset Riders etc. I need to get this OST!

@AngelBeeps It's really tries for more of the arcade style. If it was similar to the Genesis (or Megadrive if you live in the European region), you and I both know what it would sound like. I am still disappointed they not use this theme in the remake.

Holy shit!! Just when I thought that there weren't any remixes of the original Castlevania Adventure, there was! And its remix is beyond expectation!
