Meg Whitman is blanketing California airwaves with her feel-good ads designed to make voters comfortable with her and her politics. What her ads don't say is that she plans to make massive budget cuts that would devastate schools, libraries, health care services, and other vital programs. These cuts would hurt people like Nori, featured at the end of the video, whose state-aided health care service has been targeted for cuts.

That's why the Courage Campaign is going to air this ad, which we're calling "California Closed," across the state. It's time Californians learned what Meg Whitman's California really would look like. Help us get this ad on TV stations across California by going to http://www.couragecampaign.org/MegsCalifornia.

  • I voted for Nightengale.

  • Make this a #1 hit on MTV "Closed, Closed, Closed".

  • Very nice! True and sad.

  • Meg is a PIG! VOTE JERRY BROWN!!!!!!!!!!

  • Don't believe this garbage, every other candidate wants to increase taxes on the middle and upper classes, when we are the highest taxed state in the nation! Our teachers are overpaid, and the average teacher could take a 20% paycut and still be the highest paid on average! DON'T BELIEVE THIS, VOTE MEG 2010! If it's Brown, flush it down!

  • Wow! That is what I call a scare tactic. Total crap. The Republican party has been on the sidelines in California for decades while the Democrats have created an unsubstainable financial mess. That's a fact. I guess the only way to stay in power is to come up with baseless propaganda to scare the electorate into keeping the idiot Dems in power. It's not going to work this time. We have facts and logic on our side.

  • I loved California. It's sad that the whole State will become a Detroit very soon. I still don't know why certain people haven't left yet.
