I bought a cheap Brushless Motor for my Tamiya Durga but before I put it in the car test ran it on the Ground and decided to spend more money so I returned the Motor. I then put the car back together with the original 540 Motor and the standard speed control out of my Frog. The car is disappointingly slow with this motor in it. I can't wait to buy a Brushless. Thanks for Watching.

  • Hay some one with experiance! How tight do I tighten the diffs? What batteries are you running with your Brushless motor. And thanks for watching.

  • Brushless motors sound really exciting! I might not be ready for them just quite yet though, but I'm excited for you!

  • Thanks and thanks for the comment.

  • what servo r u using. where could i get sevos to fit in that rc.

  • IS the tamiya's Durga &Baldre partially assembled like the diff or anything????

  • Looks nice, always been a bit fond of these although I had already bought my DF02 way before this came out. That's running brushless, and hell is it fun :D :D

  • what is a brushlee motor anyways ? I'm into racing and looking to improve on myblackfoot extreme....thanks

  • The belts really don't ever have problems. I've personally never fried one, and I've never seen anyone else fry them either, and I run a Novak 3.5R brushless system, so that's going to be about as much stress as they're ever going to get. The only thing that really breaks are the diffs if you're put together improperly or abused a ton.

Even then, diffs are cheap and easy to replace.

  • That was my first look at a "belt" driven RC. Interesting. I always wondered though if the belts crack or break. My Subaru is shaft driven and I had a lot of fun building it so I'm sure I would really enjoy building one of these someday. I like the tires on this Durga and the steering construction looks cool. Thanks for sharing!
