The village of Ni'lin is mounting a courageous and determined fight to show that we will never be defeated. Yesterday (14th January) saw another demonstration against the annexation wall. This was a very emotional day for the people of Ni'lin. Each demonstration lacks those special few who died for our cause. Yesterday another loss was remembered during the protest. (Ahmed mousa 10 years old, yousef amireh 17 years old, muhammed khawaja 18 years old, arafat khawaja 22 years old and Aqil srour 36 years old) The people of our land will never go down, no matter how many of us they kill.

We cannot be broken and we will continue our struggle until we tear down this racism wall and retrieve the land that was stolen from us. When the occupation started and the building of the annexation wall began we stopped praying in our mosques and began praying in our fields. To show our commitment and unity we stay steadfast near the olive tree. We have been doing this for more than two and a half years. Yesterday after the Friday prayer out in the fields which showed our unity near the olive tree, we began the demonstration with more than 150 demonstrators against the annexation wall along with a number of Israeli peace activists who joined us too. We were raising the Palestinian flag which had written on it "LETS BREAK THE SEIGE AROUND GAZA" and pictures of the five martyrs from Ni'lin.

All five were brutally killed by the Israeli occupation forces in the Ni'lin's peaceful Demonstration against the annexation wall during the past two years. During the protest the demonstrators were shouting slogans affirming their solidarity with Gaza and their opposition to the occupation and what they have done to the town of Ni'lin. Once the Demonstrators reached the Gate of the concrete wall the occupation forces started firing tear gas bombs directly at the demonstrators. One demonstrator aged 18 got shot in the head at close range with a tear gas bomb and was sent to a Ramallah hospital and many others suffered from the tear gas inhalation. After that the occupation army opened the gate and started running toward the demonstrators to catch them.

They fired a lot of tear gas and rubber bullet and even live ammunition but luckily the demonstrators escaped and no one got arrested. The soldiers reached the village and after that they went back to their jeeps near the wall again but the demonstrators came back to continue the protest and the protest finished at 4:00 pm.

  • Great video!

  • Who are the terroists in this video. Not the peaceful demonstraters but the thuggs of the rogue state. Israel, you can fool some of the people some of the time but you cannot fool all the people all the time. Remember that you supportes of this racist, rogue apartheid state. No peace without justice.

  • When in 1977, the United Nations passed the resolution inaugurating the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian people, it was asserting the recognition that injustice and gross human rights violations were being perpetrated in Palestine. In the same period, the UN took a strong stand against apartheid; and over the years, an international consensus was built, which helped to bring an end to this iniquitous system. -NELSON MANDELA 1997

  • Tres grave de voir cette agression..Je suis avec le peuple palestinien..Cette video est dans mes favoris ..Solidaire avec vous !!

  • For as long as racist, fascist governments keep giving guns to children - we will keep fighting for all the children.

Solidarity Ni'lin! Palestinians are the bravest people I know.
