Open Carry in Detroit Michigan - Illegal Detainment, Search & Seizure Part 1

Mr Szerdi just happened to be walking down a public street on the sidewalk past Comerica Park. He quickly realized two uniformed officers were ordering him to their car. After trying to educate the officers who do not know the law he finds himself detained ,searched and his personal items confiscated. In Michigan open carry is legal. There are no laws regarding ID's or licensing related to open carry of a firearm. The officers in the audio are completely confused as to what the laws are. They repeatedly try to justify what they're doing by going back and forth as to what the legalities are. You will soon see that even the supervisor doesn't understand the laws in regard to OPEN CARRY. Concealed Carry Pistol Free Zones are related to people who are concealed not open carry.
