Green Conservatism

Gingrich's hero, Reagan, had the solar panels Jimmy Carter installed removed. Conservatives will always be the ones who block environmental progress.

a good example of how incentives work is that people recycle cans because they know they can make money doing it. We went to California for a/b 10 weeks & while we were there we recycled plastic & cans b/c there are recycling places everywhere & you can make money by recycling.

Green conservatism sounds too much like compassionate conservatism, to me - where conservatism quickly falls by the wayside, in favor of its pretext.

While I like the free-market sales pitch, there seems to be too much centrist pandering here.
