Critics when they review or critique a film I always seem to get the feeling that because they have a degree in journalism that their review should be the final say on how good or bad the film is. When really it's just people personal preference. I also hate when you're watching a film say like Avatar & a critic makes it out to be some sort of political statement. James Cameron with Avatar's heavy politcal undertones blah blah blah. It's a MOVIE not real life just enjoy it for PETE'S SAKE!!

Hven't seen the movie, and never seen this reviewer before, but based on that review I'm convinced the film must be great, because it failed to entertain a pretentious up himself douche like this Eli guy.

Besides, does anyone really watch a western expecting anything new?

Eli Glasner, you get one star out of five from me - what a ridiculous 'review'! "Gunless" was sweet and funny and warm-hearted. I enjoyed it immensely!

Ok CBC this movie critic needs a sense of humor! One star out of 5? Pretty unforgiving with the movie rating as well.This movie totally makes fun of Canadian stereotypes and I found what I saw of the trailer funny enough to sit through for a couple hours.
