I followed the code exactly and tried several times, and it isn't working. I am using it on my iPod touch, and i have confirmed that the accelerometer works. What might be wrong?

wonderring if you know how to link the shake api to view a different image or like page. so you can shake and itll show a random image?

yeah it doesn't work.. i thought the if statement was like if(condition) { statements; } he didnt use curly brackets :S

API? Thats how one program can work with another. The accelerometer does not have a API
