The very fragrant Nymph of the Grot shows us how to make the perfect locally sourced Vegetarian Pearl Barley Risotto, from her holiday tent's stove at Featherdown Farm.
I get in the way a bit.

  • What a happy Hippy couple ... They probably haven't had a shower for a long time and smell like chicken stock cube!

  • Veg is more ethical when is organic and local. Meat is more ethical when is free range, local and has been killed in an ethical way. Wwhere I live (highlands of Scotland) the only ethical food I can buy is meat and fish. There is no organic veg or indeed local veg I can buy. The meat is either wild venison that has been shot to order when the number need to be kept down or local fish from the loch outside my house fished by the neibour... you cannot beat it! Your statement is misleading. :)

  • That looks lovely. Think I'll try that soon - thank you!

  • she's hot but can't cook but i'll still take her
