you´re right.
im german and i have to say erik zabel is an outstanding sprinter who achieved great results for such a long period of time.
and in this years tour he showed that he can still compete with the best sprinters of the world!
"ete" zabel is an all time great!
plus he never really used doping. he only tried it for one week in the 90s and figured it doesent help him and he doesnt need it. so in my opinion he is a role model for the new generation like cavendish or ciolek.

i agree, zabel was the man.

i'm a sucker for Thor Hushovd though, even though he's a sprinter and can't go all the way. wish he could just beat cavendish!

The crash would have happened anyway even if the gendarme taking the photo hadn't been there. Nelissen was head down and veering into the barriers.
