Olympic torch protest Flame exchange Toronto Police Disperse crowd (ATR) The Vancouver 2010 flame departs Toronto making its way through Ontario after being diverted from its original route due to protests.

On Thursday the torch relay reached Toronto, Canadas biggest city.

Bollywood star Akshay Kumar did not finish the length of his run due to protesters blocking one end of Yonge Street, causing a one-hour-delay. Police diverted the route and removed the shouting protesters. The protesters are against the the Olympics being held on lands taken away from aboriginal tribes..

I cant even put up a sign on my own front lawn saying i dont want the olympics here or i will be fined (free speech) homeless pple in the downtown core of vancouver are suddenly finding shelters closed and places they used to sleep blocked of so as to present a "beautiful British Columbia". Taxpayers money (many of whom DON'T agree with the olympics) is being used to buy tickets to reward volunteers and big money interests.
