@GetMercked I've done that this so called owner of the property was kicking me and my friends off the steps and he pushed our camera away so one of my friends got in his face and the guy pushed him down the steps and I just went crazy and smacked him with my deck

You know, there's attitude on both sides, but I'm old enough to be any of those "participants' " father, including the security guy, and I'd have to take the kids' side. All that security guy would have to do is approach them politely and they'd probably have left. Then, if not, call the police. THAT's his job, not being an overweight wannabe cop. Skateboards don't automatically make you a bad guy... neither does being more intelligent than the supposed authority figure.

One need not punch to initiate physical aggression. Last I check security guards have no legal authority to confiscate personal property from an individual that is on public property (sidewalk). The kid was simply preventing the theft of his property.
