Oh brother! Please look at history! In Germany they thought that the Xmas tree protected their home! Isn't God our protector?
Christmas comes from ancient pagan worship where there were orgies and children were sacrificed! Please look into history like Saturnalia & the birthday of the unconquered son god. That's where Xmas came from. It is NOT Christ's birthday-he was born in the early autumn,. We know this because he was 6 months younger than John the Baptist who was born in the early spring.

this man was behind the apostasy of God's Church, what this man is doing on this video is in 2 thess 2, "is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, " he carries on the evil that caused the man of sin's apostasy and matt 24:15's fulfillment mr tkach is of- "them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved." 2thess 2

Christmas is a phenomenon caused by the message of Jesus' birth. It is associated with a spirit of GREAT JOY & came TO ALL PEOPLE. It still is hence the worldwide celebrations. The Christmas spirit of joy is of God & not Satan as some want us to believe. Jer 10 is not a Christmas tree. Christmas trees don't wear 'CLOTHING' vs 9. God has lots of Christmas trees that He decorates with snow at Christmas time.

@SpeakingOfLife Have fun putting your pentagram star on top of your pagan idol tree, and choose subjective truth over Gods objective law.
Does the Bible tell us to celebrate Jesus' birth? No.
Is the origin of December 25 worship of the sun? Yes.
Was Jesus born on December 25? No.
...Wake up!

True. Jer.10 is no Christmas tree.I have one. I don't pray to it, or worship it. I know my Bible. I am not confused like these Christmas haters. I think they are influenced by Satan & the spirit of Antichrist. Not everyone who teaches Bible is of God. Jesus warns us about false prophets & wolves in sheep's clothing that will come in His name to deceive. Merry Christmas .

@breezwonder True. These people are so foolish, they won't celebrate Christmas because of its "pagan origins". They condemn the Christmas tree because pagans worshipped trees. What if it is discovered that pagans also worshipped clothes? Will they go naked & condemn others who wear them?

The Tree itself is Nuetral. The Bible says that everything God made was "Good" people worshipped the sun. Does this mean we do not enjoy the weather when its hot outside?

It never ceases to amaze me that Christians take scripture and translate it as they please to make it alright to do things that their god says not to do.

People try to stray from what the Bible directly instructs. That is herecy, which my friend you are committing. When you get down on your knees in front of the Christmas tree you have worshiped the false idol. Jesus also warns anyone that He who makes a child sins, might as well tie a millstone around their neck and jump in the sea. Their fate is sealed and the sin cannot be forgiven nor will be forgiven by even Yeshua himself. Rebuke and repent for you are leadings sheep astray.

Sir, you can explain away your disobedience all you want. You will be held accountable more than those you lie to. It does not take a doctor in religiousness to know this helliday is false and does not honor God. Honor God in Spirit and in Truth. Christ-mass nor this tree nonsense does not honor him. Men can choose how they worship Him but he will not acknowledge lies and disobedience. Seek God, not what you friend tried to explain away.
Well, if it barks like a dog, wags his tail like a dog, has fleas like a dog ... The Catholic Encyclopedia is refreshingly honest about the origins of the Christmas tree; it comes from pagan roots. As I read scripture God is fairly specific about how he is to be worshiped. But if a man wants to say, 'Aw, that's all right ... let's go ahead and cut a tree from the forest, deck it with silver and gold ...'. Come on, it's a dog.

History shows that anything God created can be misused by pagans. To be consistent with your logic, you would need to stop eating spaghetti, stop wearing a wedding ring and stop using the names of the days of the week, because they are of pagan origin.
The Jeremiah passage was written to Israelites regarding carved idols. It has nothing to do with Christians observing the Incarnation of Christ. Christians do not worship the Christmas tree; it is a symbol of the eternal grace and power of God.
