A few years ago, Steve and Tina Jewell went to visit Tina's family, living in a small, remote Village in western Tanzania. For the people in the village, daily life meant no electricity or running water. Every day, they carried water home from a lake six kilometers away.On their next trip to Tanzania, the Jewells took with them (thanks in part to a donation from the Kusam Klimb committee) enough funds to help the villagers drill for water. This is their story.
