  • album is full of great songs. Too bad not many people know about it.

  • @SophSinging i think this is their artistic masterpiece myself. every song is fabulous.. not one bubblegum pop tune, like in their later (more successful) stuff..

  • Soph,

I am 58 years old and heard so many albums...Abandoned Luncheonette is on my top ten of all time...wonderful songs. I was so disappointed when H&O cruised to bubblegum. I suspect H&O were too.... But Daryl has a nice house.

  • @ELPerroBuddy63 I know this is a late reply, but amazon dot com has Abandoned Luncheonette for sale on cassette.

  • Bruno Mars caught a tune here.

  • thanks Peter Glaves

  • @BILLYJOHNBELL Makes me feel good!

  • @imyourgalfriday totally agree.

  • makes me think of my neighbor I grew up with! Thanks Vicki for being such a important part of my childhood! She loved this song. Marie

  • Who knew Hall & Oates were even better in the 70's!

  • This one and "Las Vegas Turnaround" are the two best off of this album. And they are both lead by Oates for a change.

  • Sadly, this beautiful song was never released as a single, and, in my opinion, it is their VERY BEST ever!
