@Jillz500 They made a fixture with more features that is half the price. Keep paying for namesake if you want, it's your money.

does anyone know the quality of this compared to the platinum spot 5r, i am looking for a theatrical light with good optics, it seems the 5r has an outstanding even field and a brighter bulb but im confused on elation's selling tactics

Hi guys...thanks for the comment Jillz... The Mac250 is a great piece, however there are a few key differences in the Elation Design spot 250pro.. 1 main difference is the IRIS. There really is no other 250 on the market with an IRIS... the 2nd is the variable frost that converts the spot to a wash. they are both 14 deg.. however the Design spot includes a free 25 degree lens inside the unit to make the beam of light bigger.
