This album used to blow my mind and every cell in my body. Still makes me ache. So sexy too. Intensely. Being in the middle of nowhere in Wales and BeforeInternet I didn't know any one else who liked them so it was ultra personal. Think I was about 14 /15 years old, it was such a great age to experience this.

Understandable (reminds me of Exhorder/Pantera, Bush/Nirvana...) but I feel that both each have made great music and that, in light of the music world being what it is nowadays in the modern era, both ought to be upheld as fine examples of how to make music. I love both Garbage and Curve - two of my many favorite bands and musicians and can listen to either one and feel satisfied. Hell, even Curve likes Garbage according to interviews with Toni.

@TheCanadianPrairies The problem with that statement is that you mentioned both bands in the same sentence . No not equally at all . I like Garbage. I love Curve. Curve influenced a lot of the sounds that Garbage make . No denying that . While I am sure that other bands influenced Curve . I haven't heard those influences to any degree that would confuse people as to which band sounds like which . Man ypeople that hear Garbage first think that Curve sounds like Garbage. Tisk. Tisk .

My Bloody Valentine is an awesome band , But Curve has nothing that sounds even close from the material I have heard, And I am not missing much as I am a Huge Curve fan . Now lets talk about Garbage Capitalizing on Curve's sound , In A BIG Way And Cherry is probably considered Curves best By many people . Myself, I would choose Low and Behold.

@TyphoidBryan ...well that you opinion. I dont really hear the MBV comparisons - Cuckoo? MBV weren't 'big' (heaven forbid!) come to think of it who were 'big' - well that's indie for ya! Plus you're a bit too young - methinks you're a revisionist, or mabye you were fawning over MBV when you were 13?
