Personality: loner, smart, serious (but is able to have the occasional laugh), takes a while for him to open up, loyal, good planner, focused, it is hard to get his respect, but once you have it you know you can trust him and he knows he can trust you, and is not always polite (but he is always polite to Ayame), but when he is polite it is only to girls.

Additional info (optional. like history, background, etc.): Born in the country land of Texas, he grew up working on a farm. He always helped his dad take care of the land and the animals. He lived with his mom, dad, big brother, and little sister. But one night, when he was about ten years old, a friend of his fathers purposely set his house on fire. Kane was the only one that made it out. The fire also killed all the animals. He then moved to Japan to stay with his aunt and uncle. He has a tough time talking to them, so they think he is some troubled teen and are worried about him. They have sent him to many therapists, but he refuses to talk to them. He secretly feels guilty for putting his aunt and uncle through this, but he doesnt know how to be nice and friendly anymore. He still has nightmares about the night the house burnt down. He met Ayame at his school. All the girls at his school are crazy about him because he puts off this sort of bad boy image. Only Ayame knows about what happened to his family, but she doesnt know about him being a digidestined. From the moment he watched his home burn down, with his family inside it, he vowed that someday he would find a way to get back at the man who did it, he didnt know how, all he knew was that he will.
Crush: Ayame Azumi (who is not a digidestined)
Rival(s): basically anyone
Best friend(s): no one besides Ayame (but if he had to choose to save his life it would be Kito)
