Orange Moose! 1960s cereal commercial

Three things to say:
1-Orange, eh'? I guess I'll have to take their word for it.
2-Remember the 80s Crispy Critters ad, with the Jimmy Durante animal puppet?
3-Was this a Jay Ward animation?

Orange moose...in black and white haha..what was that last part haha...orange moose along with the other sugary animals..did it taste like orange!?

Because color tv hadn't come out yet and even if it did most ads were still filmed in BW

I'm guessing this ran in mid-1964. (The "Linus The Lionhearted" cartoons aired from 1964-1966). It was obviously a takeoff on the Presidential nominating conventions of that year.

show..if You have any more info about Milton The Milkman?

While I watched this in it's original airing, it's last syndicated showing may have been on WJAN-TV 17 in Canton, Ohio in about 1972-74 on The Milton the Milkman Kids show..The prints were horrible, and of course, the commercials for the cereals were gone..

I've got a couple episodes on 16mm in my collection already! Don't think I have any from a network airing with the Post ads though, but I haven't gotten around to watching 'em yet!
