Trying something new.
[Selena's POV]
I walked in the school not knowing where to go or what to say. I was nervous you could definitely say that. At my other school I was the nerdy Selena and in this school it would be the same. I just stood there lost in my thoughts when some girl with brown hair and bangs over her eyes ran up to me.
"Hi, Hi!" she said just a bit over-enthusiastically.
"Uhh, Hey?" I was surprised someone was talking to me and yet happy.
"My name is Demi, Demi Lovato, what's yours?" she really needs to work on that over-enthusiastic thing.
"Gomez, Selena Gomez" I laughed.
"What's so funny?" she looked quite offended thinking I was laughing at her.
"It's not you. I was laughing because of the way I said my name. Gomez, Selena Gomez. Bond, James Bond. Get it?" I don't think she did but hey you gotta teach someone
"Ohhhh! I get it! Well I just came over here to help you. You looked a little lost." she smiled.
"Yeah, I was. Thanks for your concern. May I ask you something?" there was this question that was nagging at me all through this conversation and it just needed to come out.
"Sure. Shoot." she seemed a little curious, maybe. no not really.
"Are you one of the populars" She laughed. I don't see why, this was a serious question. She was amazingly gorgeous and she could fit right in.
"Are you kidding?! Heck no! I would never talk to one of those low-life, stuck up, 2 4 6 8 who do we appreciate?!, bird-brain losers in my entire life. Unless of course, I have to tutor them." she added with a smile.
I laughed. I have never met a girl so, so much like me in my life. We both had the same opinion on the populars and we both had the same humor. Maybe this school won't be so bad after all.
"Well, that's good to know. I can actually cheer, but I am not into the populars that come with it." I wasn't so sure if I should have said that. I mean maybe she wouldn't like me anymore.
"Good. I need a friend besides the air-head Ashley." I looked at her questioningly. "Don't worry, she isn't popular, she just has her blonde moments, considering she is blonde." There we go with the humor again. I couldn't help but laugh.
"Well, do you know where my locker is? It's 122." I was seriously lost. throughout this talk I was trying to find it. I needed help badly.
"Ehmagawd! Yours is next to mine! and Ashley's but she is a little coo-koo, so we won't worry about her." I was thankful, not about the Ashley part, but that my locker was by hers.
"Ehmagawd! You read The Clique too?" my favorite series to be exact.
"Deff! Best teen series ever!" I noticed she had one in her bag. Dial L for Loser. good one.
"Can you take me to my locker?" I was a little tired of carrying these books around.
"Sure. Let's go!" she dragged me down the hall.
I was ecstatic that I met a new friend the first day. Go me! I laughed. She looked back at me like I was crazy. I immediately stopped. I didn't need to lose her. She started laughing. Which got me going and soon enough we had everyone's eyes on us.
[Nick's POV]
What the fuck? That's all I can say. Here I am, making out with my girlfriend Meghan and here come two idiots down the hall laughing. Dude, do they have no respect? I mean were all trying to mind our own business and they cause me to pull away from the greatest makeout ever! Ugh! I'm gonna go give them a piece of my mind!
"Meghan, I am gonna go talk to Dorkmi and that new girl and teach them respect." I said walking away.
Meghan pulls me back, "But Nicky!"
"Meghan, I will be back soon don't worry." Did i sound annoyed? If i did, it was because I am. She is soo damn clingy.
I walk down the hall to Dorkmi. God, she looks so stupid today. I can't believe she bothers to come to school. Whatever, I shook that thought off. I walk up, as always Dormi is annoyed.
